Trail running doesn't stop when the days get cooler and shorter - it just gets a bit more magical! But we know not everyone feels comfortable just jumping in without any or much experience with night trail running. Join us for this beginner-friendly event and learn to safely navigate the dark trails.
This event is specifically designed for folks with limited or no prior night trail running experience. Our focus is not on speed or distance, but on building comfort and confidence with the necessary techniques and gear. This is an inclusive space to learn and ask questions, surrounded by a supportive community.
Petzl is bringing headlamps and La Sportiva is bringing trail shoes to “demo”. This means you get to try the gear for the evening out on the trails. If you have your own trail shoes and/or headlamp, feel free to bring them. We anticipate having enough gear for all participants, but shoe sizes are always limited and priority will be given to runners who have never or rarely tried a headlamp.
What to Bring
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for movement and be sure to dress for the weather conditions.
Please bring your own hydration and nutrition (water, sports drink, gels/snacks) as needed for the run.
Optional Bug Spray: Bugs shouldn't be an issue this time of year, but bring your favorite product just in case!
